02 — Systems I've built

Real software built to solve real problems.

Personal Solo Project

The problem

Many households still manage grocery expenses manually, making it difficult to track spending, monitor purchased items, or remember products that are close to expiry.

What I built

  • Built a full-stack MVC web application featuring real-time expense tracking, expiry reminders, printable reports, and PDF export.
  • Developed a Bangla voice-input system using the Web Speech API that intelligently extracts grocery items and quantities from natural spoken language.

How it holds up

Implemented bcrypt password hashing, prepared SQL statements to prevent SQL injection, and AJAX-powered CRUD operations for a smooth, reload-free user experience.

02Library Management System

Academic Project • Team Lead (4 Members)

The problem

Managing books, members, and borrowing records manually was inefficient and difficult to maintain as the library grew.

What I built

  • Led a team of four students to design and develop a web-based Library Management System using MVC architecture.
  • Designed and implemented the authentication system, user registration, profile management, role-based access control, and session handling.

How it holds up

Integrated prepared SQL statements, server-side validation, and AJAX-powered dynamic interactions to improve security and usability.

03Interactive Developer Portfolio

Personal Solo Project

The problem

Recruiters often spend limited time reviewing a candidate's portfolio. I built an interactive website that presents my projects, applied skills, certifications, and background in a clear, responsive, and engaging way.

What I built

  • Developed a responsive portfolio using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion.
  • Implemented interactive skill-to-project highlighting, certificate lightboxes, reusable components, smooth animations, and SEO optimization.

How it holds up

Built with reusable React components, responsive layouts, optimized metadata, and deployed using GitHub Pages.

Three different problems. The same small set of tools, chosen deliberately and applied with discipline.
